Our Purpose

Beacon House exists as a Christian agency to offer a wide range of holistic services within an atmosphere of acceptance and care to those in need

Our Mission

• We will build relationships of trust by taking time to listen to individuals' stories
• We will offer practical help and medical care, counselling, personal development and health awareness, working in co-operation with other services 
• We will raise awareness of the needs experienced by vulnerable people to community groups, including schools and churches

Our Vision

We will do this by developing our premises so that we can:

• employ a GP by December 2005

• improve our reception and shower areas by June 2006
• offer "The Lighthouse" for coffee and chat by December 2006

For this to happen we will:

• double our volunteer base
• increase client involvement in service provision as part of their personal development
• increase support from local churches
